Book Quote from World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War by Max Brooks

It’s not pleasant to suffer from General Anxiety Disorder and OCD, which creates thoughts abounding with dread, thoughts I’d prefer to silence forever.
In turn, these thoughts provoke absurd fears that bounce around in people’s brains–equal to ping pong balls on meth.

The Max Brooks quote is quite accurate, considering the horror that the unknown can bring, though I would rather read zombie books than to meet a zombie in the light.

“I think that most people would rather face the light of a real enemy than the darkness of their imagined fears.”
